Art
Subject Overview
Art and Design enables students to expand on a wide range of skills through interesting and interactive projects. It is a way of seeing things and making sense of the world around you.
The subject offers an opportunity for students to develop their creativity through practical activities. They can also improve their analytical skills, communication skills and research abilities in theoretical projects.
The skills you gain make it a great complement to other subjects.
Art and design can help you with further study and prepare you for the wider world of work. It offers students the opportunity to “think on their feet” and to “think outside the box” whilst making projects they can be proud of in a range of different mediums.
This is an incredibly useful skill to have in any role. It is also an excellent quality to have in a potential employee.
