Students benefit from a qualified member of staff who is available throughout the day at school. Their role is to provide support with medical needs, as well as provide first aid.

The school has a system of tracking the support and intervention we provide. However, we do require extra support from parents to complete additional information forms and provide medical evidence where possible.

This allows us to administer medication and put health care plans in place.

Illness at School

If your child is ill during the school day, they will need to go to the medical room. If the First Aider / Medical Officer feels they are too unwell to stay in school, parents / carers will be contacted to collect the student with the headteacher's permission.
